The K

of YMCAs advocates,
promotes and suppo

all
K
ansas YMCAs as they
work to
strengthen their
communities and connect
all people to their potenti

e and each other.
One in six children in Kansas
struggle with hunger every day.
Through partnerships with food
banks, schools and other nonprofits,
and the USDA’s Child and Adult Food
Program and Summer Food Service
Program, YMCAs serve as a partner
in helping feed Kansas’ kids.
Kansas Y programs help prevent social isolation in older
Kansas adults by allowing them to connect and engage in
meaningful activities. Small lifestyle changes such as
increasing physical activity, eating healthier and staying
active socially can help older adults live better.
